Request a Paper Application

November / December / January

1. Processing for the new membership year opens on November 1.
2. Company admin reviews current MDRT information at mdrt.org/about-mdrt/for-companies.
3. Company admin requests new member ID numbers/applications for all agents without an MDRT ID number who may qualify. Log in as company officer or admin, view dashboard, click on Download and Upload Membership Excel Files, and click on Request New MDRT ID numbers.
4. MDRT  receives the request form and produces the new MDRT records and ID numbers within five business days.
5. MDRT will return the ID request form with the new ID numbers included, if paper applications are needed, email paperapplicationpending@mdrt.org.
6. Members can also download an application by logging in and going to  https://my.mdrt.org/printapplication. A company administrator can request paper applications be mailed by emailing paperapplicationpending@mdrt.org.
7. Company admin or applicant completes the paper application and gathers necessary documents. MDRT encourages use of a courier so the company has proof of when the applications were sent.

Company admin or applicant mails completed application and other necessary documents to MDRT postmarked on or before March 1st.

Note: Additional fees apply to applications postmarked after March 1st.

March

1. If applicant is approved, MDRT will send an approval email.
2. MDRT will also send an approval letter and certificate by mail to the company admin or applicant.
3. Once the application is approved and meeting registration opens, members may register for the MDRT Annual Meeting and/or MDRT Global Conference. A separate meeting registration fee is required.

Application Denials

1. If MDRT encounters an issue with an application, a notification will be sent to the applicant.
2. MDRT allows applicants 21 days for a response.
3. If no response is received, the application will be denied.

Note: In most cases, an application denial can be reversed if MDRT receives the needed documents or payment to resolve the issue.
